Yay! Finished this just now. Yummy read. Sadly, this HAS to be my last novel. Gonna have to start digging into journals, articles and textbooks soon since having kissed and made up with my master's degree *cryptic phrase, i like*

I am determined to be a determined person about my determination to focus on my thesis and ignore the stacks of unread yummy novels currently residing everywhere around me *haven't gotten round to sorting everything yet; i've decided moving is the 3rd thing i hate after milk and Statistics*

Hopefully the paperback version of this book will be released soon. Wanna buy one for my keep and re-read the part where they kiss on the London Eye and lust after Mr American Frown all i want...

I so want August 17th to be TOMORROW.

I need distraction from the calendar.

JUMBLED UP

i'm back blogging.

no particular reason. just need a place to channel my thoughts and feelings. perhaps.

and to preserve memories *snort*

there was a time when i used to feel inexplicably frustrated when people did not remember things; something that i did without trying. but i guess when scientists claim that human memory weakens as we age; they do it for a reason (for one SOLE reason); it is TRUE.

i am approaching 25.
and i am now constantly frustrated with the fact that i do forget things these days. and another fact that im fast becoming a regular user of this phrase "if my memory serves me right". it is frustrating. hence the blog.

i once said PEOPLE DON'T FORGET, THEY JUST DON'T REMEMBER; approximately 2 years ago.

why?

because i believe that nobody intends to forget; if our capability permits, im sure we all want to remember everything. but its not possible. people dont call people geniuses for having superb memory for nothing.

hence the adage. the sentence forgives people for not remembering. the auxiliary verb "DON'T" lends a softer/nicer sound to it. THEY DON'T REMEMBER sounds a lot better than THEY FORGET.
